What I've found is that stay-at-home Mum's who have stopped work to raise children, who are now at school, often feel unhappy, a bit lost and don't really know what to do with themselves. But as Mum's, we often put everyone else's needs before our own and feel guilty for not being satisfied with life... so we keep quiet, crack on and may be start with some self-help.

The problem with the self-help route is that it normally produces incompletion. Nothing really changes. It all relies on you - the person wanting to grow and make changes - for the guidance, energy, support, wisdom, the direction of learning and a ton load of self-motivation to do what you feel is necessary to accomplish your goals. It requires you to do all the improving process alone.

Coaching is different.

It isn't generalised, not knowing the unique individual it's working with. It doesn't box you or your unique situation in with the rest of its clients and it doesn't spend a lot of time 'in' the problem.

It is a quicker and easier process where the emphasis is very much on the solution and you're much more likely to arrive at the goals you have set because you have an objective cheerleader in your corner.

HOW DOES PIPPA’S COACHING PROGRAM WORK?

Whether you want to get some clairty around your life vision, support and accountability to reach your goals, to reinvent or rediscover yourself or you’re just tired of drifting along, letting life happen to you and you’re finally ready to take control – Pippa’s coaching is for you.

This program guides you through coaching sessions which help you with everything you personally need to design and build life exactly as you want it – full of passion, purpose and personal fulfilment. It’s based on this simple equation:

Personal Performance = Potential – Interference

Each person’s potential is already inside of them – they may not yet know ‘how’ to do something, but they do have the ability to learn how.

Interference tends to be mental barriers or triggers which prevent you from succeeding, e.g. negative emotions, lack of confidence, deeply held beliefs which aren’t necessarily true.

Most coaching is solely focused on exploring, enhancing and encouraging a person’s potential through coaching techniques and whilst this is extremely important, it is only half of the equation.

The coaching I’m trained and experience in is different and can help you meet your goals faster because it’s combined with Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy techniques and Hypnosis and it’s these 3 things that are so effective at removing anything that’s holding you back.

So you might be wondering what these actually are…

 

Neuro-linguitic Programming (NLP) focuses on observing, understanding and changing our internal dialogue and how we perceive our life experiences to change our behaviour so that our specific and desired outcomes are consistently achieved. It breaks down our thinking, communication and the way in which we do things, allowing us to access our unconscious resources to overcome challenges.

 

Time Line Therapy is a set of techniques that help you to let go of negative emotions from the past and to eliminate limiting beliefs you have previously held about yourself so that you can get unstuck and start moving forward.

 

Hypnosis is about accessing a trance state which then makes the acceptance of positive suggestions easier to do – it’s much like a guided meditation.

 

Depending on what comes up for you during our sessions together, I can draw on any of these techniques to help you make the permanent changes you’re loooking for.

Pippa is an empathetic, free-spirited and endlessly curious soul on a quest to empower at-home Mum’s.  She’s a certified Coach and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Time Line Therapy and Hypnotherapy and uses a blend of these proven techniques along with her knack for shattering the shackles of autopilot living to guide Mum’s towards a renewed sense of purpose, reigniting their spark and steering clear of the dreaded identity crisis.

Hi, I’m Pippa

I’m a wife, Mum of two kids and I keep the plates spinning so all is well with my family and home. I’m also the founder of Pippa Rutherford coaching.

Today, I’m creating my life intentionally, just as I want it, and feel fulfilled on my own journey.

But just a few years ago, I wasn’t feeling so happy… it seemed I was drifting through life with no real direction or any idea really of where I wanted to end up!!

My purposeful life at work and as a Mum to very young, totally dependent children, had gone. Now it seemed my only purpose was getting the kids to school, having the dinner ready and filling the in-between bit with washing, dishwasher cycles and keeping ‘busy being busy’.

I had to do something different, my downward spiral had to change direction. And slowly I found ways to do exactly that, but it wasn’t until I found NLP that my purpose, passion and transformation really started to skyrocket. It completely changed the way I viewed everything.

I began living much more consciously in the way I thought, acted, reacted and spoke – particularly to myself – and this had a profound effect on every aspect of my life from my happiness, confidence and energy levels to my relationships with family and friends to really taking the bull by the horns and building my own home-based business.

NLP Coaching, Time Line Therapy & Hypnosis are all widely recognised and an effective approach for personal and professional development. However, you may have some specific questions about the coaching process.  Here are some answers to the most common questions:

 

Q:           What is Coaching?
A:            The process of coaching highlights important insights, creates a better self-awareness and offers alternative perspectives on current situations and capabilities.
By gaining clarity and focus, individuals are able to make difficult decisions, stretch their comfort zone, replace unwanted behaviour and habits with beneficial ones, put strategies in place to improve performance and effectiveness and embrace change. These transformations drive individuals from where they are now to where they want to be.
 
Q:           Can coaching help with specific areas of life?
A:            Coaching is a versatile practice that can address all and any areas of life including career and finances, personal growth, relationships, stress and emotions, spiritual wellbeing and health and fitness.
I specialise in supporting Mum’s regain a strong sense of identity and personal fulfilment and can provide targeted support based on which area(s) of your life will provide you with this. Together we’ll then explore goal setting and overcoming any barriers that are currently blocking you from reaching those goals.
 
Q:           How does coaching differ from therapy?
A:            Coaching and therapy have different focuses and approaches. Coaching is future-oriented and centres on goal setting, performance enhancement and personal growth. It’s emphasis is on unlocking potential and empowering individuals to make positive changes in their lives.
Therapy, on the other hand, addresses mental health issues, explores past experiences, and aims to resolve deeply emotional or psychological challenges.
It’s important to assess your specific needs and determine which approach is most suitable.
 
Q:           Will coaching provide tangible results?
A:            Coaching is designed exactly for this purpose – to help individuals achieve their goals and make positive changes in their lives. But this isn’t just down to the Coach. The Client must take responsibility for their own learning and growth. Coaching will be what they make of it.
I provide support and guidance and help my clients develop strategies and action plans to achieve their goals and use NLP and Time Line Therapy techniques to overcome obstacles preventing you from reaching those goals as well as Hypnosis to emphasise inner changes already worked on.
These supplement ‘normal’ coaching and can benefit clients with improved communication, overcoming limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns, clarify goals, create actionable plans, maintain a positive and resourceful state of mind, enhance self-awareness, optimise performance and help identify and shift unproductive habits and behaviours. All of which are highly impactful to providing tangible results.
A lot of progress happens within the sessions themselves but what happens between sessions can be even more powerful.  At the end of most sessions, I assign some very specific tasks to be completed before the next session. These tasks are a fundamental part of the coaching programme and if they’re not done fully and completely, the outcome of the coaching cannot be predicted.
 
Q:           How can coaching benefit me?
A:            Coaching provides numerous benefits, including increased self-awareness, clarity of goals, enhanced decision-making abilities, improved communication and relationships, boosted confidence and self-esteem, overcoming challenges, and personal growth. Ultimately, coaching offers a supportive and empowering environment for individuals to achieve their desired outcomes and live more fulfilling lives.
 
Q:           I don’t know if coaching is for me
A:            There is a risk involved in every decision we take but what’s the alternative? Either you don’t take any action, which really is just a decision to put your life on hold a little longer OR you decide to continue going this alone. What is the risk involved in trying to figure it all out by yourself? How is it working for you so far?
For those of you that have convinced yourself that somehow others can do this, but it won’t work for you, this is what we call a limiting belief and we can deal with this and others using Time Line Therapy.
And remember, you have the option to cancel at any time with 24 hours notice. No hard feelings!
 
Q:           Can I afford it and should I invest in myself?
A:            This is a big thing for many people, to invest in themselves. Personally I have spent a lot of money on my own personal development whether that’s with mentors or coaches. Some were a better fit than others, but all have been worth it for my own personal development and growth. And I still have a coach now. I won’t have one consistently forever but when new chapters or challenges occur that require a steep learning curve, that’s when I’ll have coaching again.
Coaching can actually save you money and time in the long run.  We can probably arrive at the same goals and outcomes with or without a coach but the process would be more tedious, more difficult, may have you going round in circles and can incur making costly mistakes – a valuable lesson I learned the hard way.
A Coach on the other hand provides immediate feedback to correct mistakes and improve overall results and keeps you more aligned, motivated and laser-focused on the outcome so that you stay on the right track and don’t drift off course.
 
A strange thing happens when we invest money into something. We are then, ourselves, invested. We take it seriously, we want it to succeed and so we’re motivated to put in the work necessary. This transaction then drives us forward. 
 
Q:           How long will coaching take?
A:            The duration of coaching can vary based on the individual’s goals, needs and progress. Some clients may achieve their desired outcomes after just a few sessions, while others may engage in longer-term coaching relationships for ongoing support and development. The timeline is determined collaboratively between the client and the coach.
I do have a 12 session blueprint which we may go through in its entirety, but this framework is flexible and it will depend on the individual as to which sessions we include and how much time we spend on each.
 
Q:           How often do I need to meet with a coach?
A:            Up to the first 12 sessions, it is useful to meet every other week to establish momentum and progress. These sessions are conducted via Zoom.
Once the client has accomplished their goals around their initial reason for coaching, the sessions can then finish completely or become less frequent and be scheduled based on the client’s needs for ongoing support.

Q:           I don’t have enough time
A:            As a Mum, I totally get this. We have our families, pets and homes to look after and they come first. But far from it being selfish to concentrate on your own happiness and self-development, it’s actually going to massively and positively impact your family too!
Quote: “A happy mother is a good mother; and if work makes you hum, your whole family sings along”
It may be work that makes you hum, or because your happier in your relationships, or that your health is improving – the point is the same: happy mother, happy family.
Now is the time to start investing in yourself. It’s a priority, not a luxury.   It might not feel like the right time but if you’ve found yourself on this page, trust your instinct and stop procrastinating. Remember that you can’t pour from an empty cup.
At the very least, a couple of hours a week can start to make a real difference in your mindset and your actions. This could mean asking the family to help out with house, waking up slightly earlier or turning off the TV or radio for a bit.
 
Q:           Is coaching confidential?
A:            100%. Confidentiality is a fundamental aspect of coaching. I adhere to strict ethical standards and professional codes of conduct, ensuring that the content discussed during sessions remains private and is not shared without the client’s explicit permission. However, confidentiality may have limitations if the coach believes there is a risk of harm to the client or others or as may be required by law.
 
Q:           Do I get personal access to you?
A:            Definitely. Whilst you’re going through this coaching programme, we will have regular sessions every 2 weeks.  You’ll also be able to WhatsApp me between sessions for any personal help and as a member of the Aspiring & Purposeful at-home Mum’s Facebook group, you can also ask any questions on there.
 
Q:           Who Is This Coaching For?
A:            This coaching is for anyone who is feeling unfulfilled in their current circumstances, at a point in life when they are searching for something more and is ready to jump into the driving seat and start making positive and impactful changes.
 
Q:           How do I know if you’re the right coach for me?
A:            There is a lot to consider and we both need to be satisfied that we can work together. This is why I offer an initial consultation to assess rapport and determine if we believe we’re a good fit.
It’s important to find a coach who aligns with your needs and goals so feel free to ask as many questions as you like during our initial consultation.
It’s just as important for me to focus my energy on the clients I believe I can give a better experience and best results to.  This means looking for clients who are open-minded, who are ready to change, are willing to take responsibility for their own life and are motivated to do what it takes to get where they want to be.  I also have a responsibility to other members to consistently provide a safe and supportive online community.
 
Q:           What if I join and don’t like it?
A:            We will have a contract outlining terms and conditions, but you’re able to cancel at any time with 24 hours’ notice.
 
Q:           Do I have to have a Facebook account to do this?
A:            You don’t have to have a Facebook account as any trainings will be accessible on the Pippa Rutherford Coaching vault.  However our Fulfilment Seekers Collective community does live on Facebook so if you want the support and connection with other Mum’s, this is where that happens.
 
Q:           Can I stay in the Fulfilment Seekers Collective community after our 12 sessions has finished?
A:            Absolutely!
